Our Boise Office is currently seeking an Area Construction Group Manager to join our Transportation Business Unit, Construction Engineering Services (CES) Practice. The ideal candidate is an experienced Construction Services Client/Project Manager, a practice builder and leader, whose primary focus will be the development of business relationships, sales, and project delivery of Construction Engineering, Inspection and Support Services.

Our Boise Office is currently seeking an Area Construction Group Manager to join our Transportation Business Unit, Construction Engineering Services (CES) Practice. The ideal candidate is an experienced Construction Services Client/Project Manager, a practice builder and leader, whose primary focus will be the development of business relationships, sales, and project delivery of Construction Engineering, Inspection and Support Services.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the CES Inland NW/Boise Area Construction Group Leader; manage, recruit, coach, and mentor staff in professional, technical, and business development efforts
- Work in a highly flexible, team-oriented environment with responsibility for business development, sales, and internal and external client deliverables and schedules
- Serve as a project pursuit champion, when applicable
- Assist in preparing proposals and participating in interviews
- Directly manage projects and support staff in project development and delivery, including scoping, budgeting, contract negotiations and project execution
- Work with CES Nationwide Practice Leader, Inland NW/Coeur d'Alene Area Construction Group Leader, Inland NW Business Development and Marketing leaders to initiate, identify and support project pursuits and assist in project execution
- Work with the CES Nationwide Practice Leader to identify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, and growth opportunities
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional license
- Minimum 12 years of professional public and/or consulting experience managing various highways, bridges, paving and utilities transportation and infrastructure construction projects
- Working experience of Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) Specifications and Manual is preferred
- Construction inspection and field support experience with ITD, LHTAC, local agencies, cities, counties and Federal Aid contract administration and inspection
- Acquire and maintain ITD construction inspector certifications within six months
- Good driving record
