SERVPRO Team Fosdick, is the premier restoration and construction company in Northeast Ohio. We have expanded our operations to include 14 franchises in the Cleveland, Akron, Mansfield and Toledo areas. Due to our recent construction growth, we are seeking a highly motivated, detailed-oriented, and organized Construction Manager. The Construction Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of construction projects. They are responsible for delivering a high quality of service in all dealings with customers, clients, subcontractors, resource providers, and company employees involved in performing construction services including but not limited to construction staff, estimators, and project managers. In addition, the Construction Manager ensures quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.

Primary Responsibilities: 1 Customer Communication

• Validate potential construction leads
• Oversee and ensure customer satisfaction and communication
• Educate customers on process and progress of jobs
• Manage all warranty activities

2 Project Planning

• Assign leads/projects to Project Managers
• Set targets and objectives
• Review estimates to ensure accuracy
• Review weekly budget sheets to ensure profit goals are met by team.

3 Project Execution

• Ensure reconstruction team follows proper work process
• Create project schedule and timeline
• Identify and qualify subcontractors and resource providers.
• Negotiate terms and set expectations

4 Team Management

• Manage individual team members who work together to process construction projects
• Be responsible for training construction team members (as needed)
• Performance management of team members
• Conduct regular meetings with construction team

Requirements:

• 5+ years of construction management experience
• Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
• Ability to plan and see the "big picture"
• Superior customer service track record
• Effective written and oral communication
• Excellent time and project management skills
• BS degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or related field or equivalent experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
