Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a highly motivated Construction Manager for immediate employment in Houston, Tx.
The responsibilities of this position may include, but are not limited to:
- Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
- Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- May have budget responsibilities.
- Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
- Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
- Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS + 8 years or more of relatable experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- A California registered Professional Engineer (PE) is a must.
- 10 years' experience as a Construction Manager (CM).
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to various project sites.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Los Angeles County experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
