About the Position

The company is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee and lead the production side of residential homebuilding. This pivotal role will serve as the primary point of contact for all construction operations, with direct oversight of Superintendents, Framing Crews, and Permitting Coordinators. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a proactive approach to training and development, and deep knowledge of the residential building process, particularly within the framework of the Uniform Dwelling Code (UDC).

You will be responsible for maintaining schedules, ensuring quality, coordinating with municipalities, and driving results that align with company standards and goals.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Lead day-to-day operations of production, permitting, and framing teams
  • Manage scheduling software, templates, and cycle times
  • Train Superintendents and Permitting Coordinators
  • Enforce SWPPP and safety protocols
  • Maintain and monitor even-flow dig schedules
  • Ensure on-time and on-budget project completion
  • Champion quality inspection and control processes
  • Serve as a liaison between land development and construction teams
  • Oversee neighborhood and jobsite cleanliness and safety
  • Participate in HOA board meetings and approvals
  • Support blueprint/spec understanding and scopes of work training
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in new residential construction management
  • Strong understanding of UDC and residential construction processes
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural plans
  • Experience with residential production scheduling systems
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines
