Construction Project Engineer - Fire Protection

What You Will Be Doing

• Provide fire protection engineering services, including life safety consulting, sprinkler design, fire alarm design, and performance-based fire engineering design across various facility types.
• Conduct building and fire code reviews, plan reviews, and site visits.
• Classify hazardous chemicals and prepare hazardous materials inventory statements for industrial properties.
• Ensure client satisfaction by completing tasks on schedule and within budget.
• Prepare and peer review technical reports related to projects.
• Develop fire protection strategies, performance-based design approaches, and alternative solutions to address client design challenges.

Job Qualifications

• 3+ Years Construction/Fire Protection Experience
• NICET/Relevant Certificates Preferred
• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering Preferred
• Candidates with significant industry experience in fire protection, life safety, or code consulting who are not on the engineering track will also be considered
