Description:
As Project Manager you will be playing a critical role in construction projects at Tesla facilities in North America mostly focused on the West Coast, Colorado and Texas. You will manage critical capex projects working cross-functionally with various internal and external stakeholders, interfacing with end users, construction engineering, and manufacturing engineering while ensuring your projects are on schedule and under budget. The ideal candidate will have the discipline to work in multiple locations with high attention to detail and being self-motivated to tackle hard problems. You will drive collaboration between Engineering disciplines, Construction, R&D, operations to ensure our team's goals are aligned with company priorities. Travel requirements of 35% will be required while being located out of either Bellevue WA, or the Bay Area.

- Successfully deliver diverse, design build, and self-performed construction projects in different geographic locations
- Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, enabling your teams to solve problems and prioritize execution
- Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and company wide
- Use efficient and aesthetic communication methods to escalate roadblocks or communicate successes as necessary, including the ability to clearly communicate risks
- Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project's goals
- Work with Real Estate teams to evaluate new projects and provide feedback to support lease negotiations
- Provide the best product for your respective project's customer or end users, keeping projects moving forward and fixing concerns as they arise
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
- Ideally 7-10 years of experience on commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation skills are a must
- Advanced knowledge and proven delivery on Civil, Structural, and Architectural, Mechanical, electrical, life safety and controls scopes
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), and Construction Cost/Data Analysis
- Willingness to get your hands dirty as needed to complete objectives and lead your projects through challenging times
- Ability to work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines and aggressive goals

$83,600 - $205,200/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
