Job Description: SiteWorks Project Managers oversee projects from the beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed safely and within time and budgetary constraints. In this role, you will be take over a project from estimating/ preconstruction and build it within budget. Maintaining a positive relationship with the internal team, all project stakeholders and the client(s) representatives is paramount.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Define the scope of assigned projects, develop project plans, and ensure buy-in from superintendents and clients.
Execute tasks independently or under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, as needed.
Ensure conformity with project drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Oversee project scheduling, long-term planning, and effective communication with clients and stakeholders.
Attend and facilitate pre-construction and regular meetings with customers, especially when acting as the General Contractor.
Act as the primary liaison with the customer's resident engineer, inspectors, and other assigned clients, ensuring clear and effective communication.
Engage directly with clients, taking ownership of project delivery and customer satisfaction.
Handle monthly financials, billing, pay applications, and accounts receivable collection from clients.
Approve subcontractor invoices, ensuring accurate billing to the appropriate project phases and tasks, and oversee subcontractor activities as needed.
Manage and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring all essential information is communicated to field superintendents.
Maintain thorough project documentation, monitor job progress, and report daily/weekly updates to the Field Operations Manager.
Review weekly job cost reports, project metrics, and participate in month-end financial review meetings with Division Leadership.
Uphold a strong commitment to employee and public safety throughout all project activities.
Demonstrate dedication to the care and management of company assets.
Support and actively engage in the organization's continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in industry organizations and pursue continuing education opportunities.
Follow and enforce company policies diligently.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements
Minimum Requirements, Abilities and Expectations
1-5 years of engineering, construction or heavy-civil background.
Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering or related field and/or equivalent experience preferred.
Understanding and comfort level with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to learn accounting software such as Vista by Viewpoint and Autodesk Build
Understanding and comfort level with Microsoft Project and Bluebeam software
Ability to demonstrate strong work ethic with integrity and commitment to compliance
Valid driver's license with insurable driving record
