Construction Project Manager

Location: Madison, WI OR Waukesha, WI
Position Type: Direct Hire | Hybrid Work Available
Salary: ~ +/- $65k--$100k/yr [Negotiable, DOE]

Overview
Join a dynamic and innovative architectural, engineering, and interior design firm recognized for its integrated, collaborative approach to complex, high-impact projects. As a Construction Project Manager, you will lead construction administration activities, ensuring the successful delivery of a wide variety of exciting projects across sectors including science & technology, commercial, higher education, and civic design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead construction administration for small to large-scale projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including design staff, owners, and contractors, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Oversee contractor submittals, ensuring all documentation is processed in a timely manner.
  • Respond effectively to contractor requests for information and resolve any project-related challenges.
  • Facilitate progress meetings, site observations, and document findings.
  • Review contractors' pay requests and ensure accuracy.
  • Manage project closeout, ensuring all documentation is complete and satisfactory.
  • Mentor and train staff on construction administration procedures.

Qualifications
  • ~ 5+ years of experience in construction administration, contract administration, or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction industry processes, codes, AIA documentation, and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office, and project management software.
  • Willingness to travel to construction sites and work remotely as required.
  • A professional degree in Architecture or Construction Management is desirable but not required. An architectural license is a plus.
