Description
  • Responsible for planning, budgeting, overseeing and documenting all aspects (from bidding process, through collection of contracts) of the specific projects assigned.
  • Completing projects on time and within budget. Selling services using solid positioning to prospective customers. Performing cost-benefit analyses of existing and potential customers.
  • Maintaining positive business relationships to ensure future sales. Lead Team to meet company's expectations for productivity, quality, and goal accomplishment.
  • Proactively plan each job to maximize efficiency
  • Maximize job profitability
  • Ensure that all completed jobs meet company's standard of quality
  • Generate new forms of business via new clients and/or services
  • Attain quarterly sales goals
  • Collect contractual paperwork in a timely manner
  • Meet with clients and project teams to get a complete understanding of the scope.
  • Oversee and verify take-offs/proposals generated by estimators.
  • Develops strategies to increase productivity.
  • Review existing projects with project admins.
  • Analyze, review, and process change orders for assigned projects.
  • Investigate, verify, and manage backcharges for assigned projects.
  • Confer with customers, subcontractors or supervising personnel in order to address questions and problems.
  • Primary day-to-day contact with Contractors.
  • Oversees and handles all communications within specified assigned projects.
  • Assists with submittals and RFI's.
  • Supports contract preparations/collections.
  • Facilitate communication amongst team to ensure project execution.
  • Provide oversight and direction to the team in the operating unit in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures.
  • Report progress of all projects at weekly PM meetings.
  • Train and develop team.
  • Review End of the Month Outstanding Billing Report
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge and Ability:
  • Comprehends all project specifications, scope limits, and project constraints and able to incorporate the information into the pricing.
  • Ability to handle a high volume of work in a timely and efficient manner with a keen attention to detail.
  • General knowledge of accounting, business administration, and project management practices.
  • Ability to interact with clients, employees and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Budgetary knowledge.
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, reliable, strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Conditions:
  • Project site, corporate office, home office. Strong mobile office skills and equipment required.
  • Company phone on 24 hours a day and return calls/emails in a timely manner.
  • Position may require overtime with little or no advance notice given.
  • Project managers may work closely with upper management to make sure that the scope and direction of each project is on schedule, as well as other departments for support.
