About the Position:
The company is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead tenant improvement projects in mission-critical, hospitality, and other commercial environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities for tenant improvement projects.
- Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring work is completed on time and within budget.
- Supervise subcontractors, trades, and field personnel to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.
- Maintain clear communication with project managers, owners, and stakeholders regarding project progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, permits, and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections, quality control checks, and enforce safety protocols.
- Resolve field-related issues and proactively address project challenges to minimize delays.
- Manage logistics, material deliveries, and workforce coordination to maintain project efficiency.
- Implement best practices for mission-critical and hospitality projects, ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including daily reports, site photos, and subcontractor logs.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of construction experience, with a strong background in tenant improvement work.
- Extensive experience in mission-critical, hospitality, and commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to mentor and direct on-site personnel.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and OSHA compliance.
- Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction documents, and technical specifications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
