The Consulting Architect is responsible for working with our customers to design, document, and implement robust networking solutions. This position is our top level and requires a blend of technical competence, teamwork, and customer service skills to successfully run a Post-Sale Professional Services engagement from project assignment to project closure. The Consulting Architect leverages ANM's Technical Lead team members, Project Management Office, Managed Services team, and industry-leading technologies to implement optimal solutions and deliver value to our customers.

Who We Are Looking For:
The Consulting Architect is responsible for working with our customers to design, document, and implement robust networking solutions. This position is our top level and requires a blend of technical competence, teamwork, and customer service skills to successfully run a Post-Sale Professional Services engagement from project assignment to project closure. The Consulting Architect leverages ANM's Technical Lead team members, Project Management Office, Managed Services team, and industry-leading technologies to implement optimal solutions and deliver value to our customers.
What will you be doing as a Consulting Architect:
- Acts as a technical implementation lead/SME for an assigned project and works closely with the project manager and customer to complete project tasks.
- Generates and implements network configurations, follows the project test plan and completes project documentation for the assigned networking projects.
- Ensures smooth transition of documentation to the Managed Services team as required.
- Performs analysis and diagnosis of networking problems.
- Provide third-level technical support for routing, switching, security, and wireless technologies for ANM customers.
- Effectively utilizes moderate lab setups to recreate and solve problems.
- Uses knowledge of technology, products, and services to build enterprise networking solutions.
- Invests time in continued education to learn new networking/security technologies and keep certifications current.
- Will assist the Pre-Sales team with solution designs during customer engagement
Required education, technical skills, and/or experience:
DESIRED EDUCATION, TECHNICAL SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, management, business, or a related field OR equivalent work experience.
- Cisco networking industry experience and knowledge of products and protocols.
- CCIE-R&S or CCIE-Enterprise is required.
- Advanced Networking with complex design experience is highly desired.
- Advanced analytical and troubleshooting skills with Routing/Switching/Wireless across Cisco platforms is highly desired.
- Cisco ACI, Nexus DB, NDFC, NDO, and VXLAN experience required.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Nexus 9K, 7K, 5K, Catalyst, NX-OS and ACI deployments
- Extensive hands-on knowledge of Multi-Pod and Multi-Site ACI design, implementation, and support, Tenant constructs, Application network profiles, Contracts, Fabric access policies, L3 extensions & Routing, and L3 policies required.
- Familiarity with Cisco SDWAN and DNA Center/SD Access is highly desired.
- Advanced understanding of Network Security / Cisco firewalls is required.
- Knowledge of / experience with Cisco Meraki (Hardware, Dashboard, etc.) desired.
- Solid experience with Wireshark or similar network capture tools and their use to diagnose TCP/IP-related issues.
- Knowledge of Network Management Systems (Cisco PI/DNAC, Solarwinds, Netbrain etc.).
- Create High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) Documentation.
- Create Change Window (CAB) Method of Procedure (MOP) Documentation.
- Strong verbal communication skills, work ethic, and a positive attitude.
- Experienced in presenting solutions to Engineers, Management, Directors, and C-Level
- Experienced with assisting Presale Engineers with project Scope / LOE
