The Continuous Improvement Manager is responsible for implementing, sustaining, and recommending operational excellence initiatives.

Candidate skills & requirements

.a) Knowledge and Skills
Knowledge of Lean-Sigma tools, such as Value Stream Map, waste identification, Continuous Improvement Fundamentals, 5S+1, Just in time, KPIs, SMED, takt time, pull system, ANDON, Poka Yoke, TPM, FIFO, Kaizen, 7 Quality tools, statistical tools, FMEA, APQP, DOE
Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Access, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, AutoCAD, iGrafx and Minitab
Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations including rates, ratios, percentages, and yields, as well as statistical analysis
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to analyze processes and identify best practices, areas requiring improvement, and activities that do not add value

c) Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering from a four-year college or university.
One year of related experience desirable.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Must be fluent in English with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical journals related to Lean Six Sigma
Must be able to clearly and effectively present information to team members and management in English
