Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist/Operating Room Technician
Job Specialty: Operating Room

- 2 years of scrub or circulating experience
Job Description:
- Work in a unit with 14 Operating Rooms, including 2 heart rooms.
- Collaborate with a day shift team comprised of 1 charge nurse, 16 RNs, 16 Techs, attendants, and anesthesia techs.
- Engage with a night shift team including 2 RNs and 2 Techs.
- Operate equipment using EMR Meditech.
- Perform typical procedures such as general surgery, gynecology, neurology, orthopedics, plastics, vascular, ENT, and urology.
- Maintain flexibility and a positive attitude in a dynamic work environment.
- Adhere to a dress code with ciel blue scrubs provided.
Additional Information:
- This unit has received the Unit of Distinction award three times.
- Opportunities for involvement with new equipment and technology.
- The team has a strong tenure and extensive experience.
- Call requirements include 4 days for day shift and 1 day for evening shift, with additional call requirements for CVOR as specified.
