Job Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiology
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 07:30-16:00, Monday to Friday
Guaranteed Hours:
Experience: Minimum of 1 year required
License: State Medical Board License
Certifications: ARRT(NM) or NMTCB, BLS
Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered
Job Description:
- Perform routine and complex nuclear medicine procedures as needed.
- Utilize GE and Philips equipment effectively for scanning.
- Work with a team of 3 Nuclear Medicine Technologists on day shifts.
- Responsible for inpatient and outpatient scanning; 2 inpatient scanners and 1 outpatient scanner in use.
- Maintain accurate records using the Meditech electronic medical record system.
- Participate in on-call requirements as outlined by the department.
- Adhere to departmental dress code, wearing olive top and black pants.
- Engage in continuous learning and potential career advancement opportunities within the unit.
- Foster a supportive and professional working environment with colleagues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with advanced nuclear medicine scanning procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide the best patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced and team-oriented setting.
