Contract Anesthesiologist

We are seeking a contract Anesthesiologist to assist likely one surgical day per week in our Greensboro location's onsite OR.
What you can expect:

• Working at the head of the bed during large plastic surgery cases.
• Evaluating patients' vital signs, medical histories, allergies, current medication use, and other risk factors.
• Working with the OR team during surgery cases.
• Monitoring vital signs of the patient during surgery and adjusting anesthetics as needed.
• Maintaining detailed notes on patient treatment, dosing and vital signs.
• Continuing care after surgery to control the level of pain relief and consciousness.
• Communicating continuing care instructions to specialists and nurses.

What we are looking for:

• A doctoral degree and successful completion of a four-year Anesthesiology residency program are required.
• Board certification is preferred.
• Plastic surgery experience is a plus.
• Experience working in an operating room setting as an Anesthesiologist required.
