Brightview Senior Living Home Office team is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage licensing compliance, streamline procurement practices, and maintain service contracts. This role involves collaborating with multiple departments, ensuring regulatory adherence, and optimizing vendor agreements. Strong organizational skills and knowledge of senior living operations are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain initial and ongoing community license compliance.
    • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure all operating licenses remain active, mitigate risk, and maintain adherence to state and federal regulations.
      • Assist, as needed, in resolving any licensing compliance issues.
    • Assist with coordinating the transfer of licenses for recapitalizations, refinancings, and other similar capital events.
      • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to gather, review, and submit necessary documentation for licensing processes and collaborate to problem-solve any licensing issues.
    • Collaborate and assist the Regional Operator in securing all initial operating licenses during the opening process for new communities.
  • Oversee, monitor, and maintain compliance with Brightview's procurement practices portfolio-wide.
    • Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure communities consistently maintain all standard and community-specific service contracts and assist with renewing and negotiating favorable terms and pricing.
    • Ensure all service contracts are written in compliance with Brightview's standard contract terms, including the use of proper legal names, contract terms, pricing, appropriate insurance premiums, indemnification, background checks, health clearances, HIPPA compliance, etc.
    • Ensure each service contract meets our minimum service standards and expectations.
    • As needed, organize and manage contracts and associated documents for submission to investors, lenders, equity partners, and others, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Negotiate, maintain, and manage bulk, master, and other contracts to procure goods and services on behalf of the communities
    • Lead utility contract negotiations and contract renewals and prepare recommendations for SVP of Ops and Equity Partner approvals as necessary.
    • Negotiate and maintain cable and internet service contracts.
    • Negotiate and maintain music and movie licensing.
    • Provide administrative and end-user support for the procure-to-pay software
  • Partner with the Quality Assurance team to support compliance with state licensure and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist with sustainability data gathering and reporting.


Salary Range

$80,000-$90,000

Compensation Disclosure

The salary range mentioned above reflects the potential pay for this role and does not include bonuses or additional incentives (if applicable), nor does it include the value of our benefit program. Offers will consider factors like experience, qualifications, location, community size (if relevant), certifications/training, etc. Brightview regularly reviews and adjusts compensation ranges.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years in contract management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to efficiently organize and manipulate large amounts of information and data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Excellent project management skills to provide on-time delivery of projects and reports.
  • Experience in managing vendor and service contracts across multiple sites
  • Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet-based applications.
  • Excellent written communication skills, including proper grammar and professional writing.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to connect and communicate effectively with associates of all levels; ability to speak in front of large and diverse audiences.
  • Ability to manage projects and to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong customer orientation to older adults.
  • Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and energy.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.

Preferred: Advanced knowledge of senior living regulations
