As a Contracts Administrator, you will support the daily functions of the Contracts Administration department including support of the Business Development department sales pursuits, the Program Management department development programs, and Sales Operations purchase order administration. You will also be assigned responsibility for a set of customers to manage their specific awarded contracts. You will develop and maintain the best possible working relationships with internal and external customers by providing service that meets or exceeds our customers' expectations.

This on-site position is located at our Headquarters in Oak Creek, WI. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, Contracts Administration.

Typical responsibilities include:
  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and governmental contracts with domestic and foreign customers
  • Understanding contractual terms and monitoring Astronautics' and customer's performance against the contract
  • Advising on business issues relating to contractual requirements
  • Administering the execution of contracts and purchase orders
  • Representing Astronautics with customers
  • Supporting preparation of business proposals, including certifications, representations and terms and conditions
  • Providing interdepartmental support
  • Utilizing and managing customer orders in an ERP database environment

Education and Experience:

Required
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in business, law, engineering or related field
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship


Desired
  • Juris Doctorate degree
  • 3+ years' experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and/or governmental contract terms and conditions
  • Familiarity with export regulations and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
