This role will offer you the following daily challenges:
The successful candidate will be a contracts analyst for highly dynamic hypersonic weapons programs. The role is responsible to manage, both independently and with a team, all day-to-day contract administration across multiple contracts. The candidate will work closely with functional organizations (finance, pricing, program management, engineering, subcontracts, etc.), and must be a self-starter, willing to learn, demonstrate strategic thinking, and be able to effectively coordinate with multiple internal and external customers. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, researching complex issues and providing recommendations for resolution; developing risk assessments and mitigation plans; assisting the manager and program team on various assignments that require business acumen; and providing contractual guidance.
Although this position does support some teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near one of our Lockheed Martin Space facilities.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree from an accredited college or relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
Contracts experience
Desired skills
Demonstrated experience with briefing senior leadership on program status and contractual
issues.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to support and achieve business goals and a desire to help grow the business and gain efficiencies to improve program performance.
Skilled at independent learning and research.
Potential to serve as a special topic team lead and provide contractual support and guidance to other program personnel.
Comfortable exercising latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments, serving as point-of-contact to the U.S. Government customer on major matters pertaining to program policies, plans, and objectives.
Demonstrated development of contractual
solutions for a variety of complex business
issues.
Focused listening skills.
Coordination and collaboration skills.
Track record of strong, positive customer
relationships, maintaining trust and effective
rapport.
Ability to analyze/synthesize financial data,
regulations, procedures, process descriptions,
and make recommendations.
Proven exceptional strategic communication
skills, both written (clear and concise), verbal,
and presentation, to effectively communicate
business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, as
well as program and executive management, with an ability to persuade and motivate action.
Experience evaluating and complying with FAR
and DFARS clauses and provisions.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $63,800 - $112,470. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
