The Contracts Manager role is to support Program Management and Sales/Account Management in the delivery of Safran Aerosystems Evacuation Programs through the effective development, negotiation, management, and closure of major contracts and subcontracts. In addition, the Contracts Manager is responsible for defining, deploying and supporting Safran's corporate Export Control, Trade Compliance and Business Partner policies and for overseeing implementation of action plans to ensure compliance with Group, US and international regulations.

This role is a combination of strategic commercial management and operational contract management.
Contract Management
Manage the development, negotiation, execution and operational management of all sales contracts.
Act as the primary point of contact for all contract and commercial compliance issues including engagement with the relevant legal teams in the United States and France.
Coordinate the resolution of contractual issues and disputes arising with the customers.
Ensure adherence to contractual obligations through effective commercial management, including payments, claims, warranties, cash flow, and flow down of contract amendments and variations.
Work closely with the program team to achieve the required performance in terms of schedule, deliverables, cost and quality.
Facilitate and maintain an effective working relationship with the customers, ensuring sufficient engagement and integration with the engineering, sales/accounts management, program management, and aftermarket teams.
Ensure the Customer's mandatory commercial requirements are effectively flowed down internally and externally.
Coordinate the necessary experts on sales, programs, warranty, off sets, technology, legal and finance to ensure the optimum balance within each contract.
Analyze the risks associated with each part of the contracts and proposals, offering alternatives where applicable.
Update proposals and contracts as negotiations progress.
Ensure compliance with all company processes, including contract and bid review.
Maintain detailed records of all contractual agreements, modifications, and amendments.
Report on contract statuses, upcoming expirations, and renewal opportunities to senior management.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with all export and customs control regulations, including defining, deploying and supporting the following general policies:

Identify and manage actions plans to address risks and processes associated with Trade Compliance and Export Control (including Business Partners). Ensure the implementation of appropriate risk reduction measures and crisis management systems.
General
Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture.
Regular, predictable attendance is required.
Other duties may be assigned.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
This position sits and performs computer work/ attends meetings onsite and offsite. This position is located in a manufacturing & office environment.
The work environment is an office setting with moderate office noise. This office is located in a building that contains a production floor & testing area. This office is located in the Sales & Programs wing of the building.
Travel required: 10%-15%

Aerospace/Defense background is preferred.
