The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for a Contracts Manager to join the team in Hazelwood, MO.

Following a successful competition, this will be a new franchise level development program where strong contract leadership will be a necessity. The Contracts Manager will partner with the Program Manager and Finance Manager for tactical and strategic decision making.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manages employees engaged in Contract Management Specialist activities
  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
  • Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees


Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 5+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Estimating, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)
  • 5+ years of experience drafting, negotiating, and administering contracts in programs with multiple customers and multiple contract types, such as: general terms agreements, assignment agreements, nondisclosure agreements, purchase and sale agreements
  • 5+ years of experience leading or managing proposal development and negotiating commercial and/or government contracts
  • Experience in a leadership role (i.e., manager, project manager, team lead, etc.)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience in contracts or contracts-adjacent role
  • Experience leading through change
  • Previous management experience or experience leading large scale activities with multiple stakeholders

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $107,950 - $146,050
