The Headlines:
In the role of Control Systems Engineer (CSE) working in the Golden Brewery in Golden, CO, you will be part of the Technical Services team. You will work with Brewing and Packaging Operations teams to develop and apply automation and control technology solutions to realize continuous improvement and process optimization opportunities.
This position reports to the Brewery Control Systems Manager and works closely with Brewing, Utilities and Packaging staff to support automation integration and optimization for all Operational Technology (OT) PLC and DCS based control systems throughout the facility.
The CSE, under guidance from the CSM will function as the technical lead for OT process control system changes, improvements and integration opportunities through active project participation in enterprise-driven capital projects.

Job Posting Total Rewards Offerings: $106,000.00 - $139,100.00 (posting salary range) + 10% target short term incentive + $11,000 on average spent on benefits per employee, including but not limited to health, dental, vision, retirement with above market employer match, wellness incentives and EAP + paid time off (including holidays, vacation days and sick days).

The Responsibilities:
- Provides technical leadership and expert technical support to on-shift Engineering Technicians.
- Provides coaching and training to Plant Operations and Technicians to improve plant proficiency in the use of OT (PLC and DCS) process control automation software, hardware, instrumentation, VFDs and networks.
- The CSE will have work assignments that include instrumentation and controls design, PLC, HMI and VFD programming, power and control electrical to process equipment, and facility systems. CSE will participate in field testing (I/O verification, operational readiness testing, functional & performance testing), commissioning, training, and startup services of capital projects.
- Ensures OT (PLC and DCS) Process Control Automation system software, hardware, instrumentation, VFDs and networks are at appropriate revision levels.
- Responsible for OT (PLC and DCS) software, hardware, instrumentation, VFDs and network change management and version control of production process automation systems.
Qualifications:
- You have a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electrical Computer Science, Chemical Engineering or related field with OT Control System experience.
- You have previous manufacturing experience (3-5 years) in OT (PLC and DCS) process controls automation design and/or programming is required.
- You have working knowledge of and experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) such as ProLeit Brewmaxx and Rockwell PlantPAX, Rockwell PLCs, Schneider PLCs, SQL basics, OPC configuration, Rockwell Asset Centre, Control Loop Tuning, and OT Networks.
- You love a challenge. You complete complex projects quickly and adeptly with your understanding of business priorities.
- You act with appropriate urgency to various market events and trends that require a quick turnaround in plans and strategy
- You are confident, diplomatic, professional and exercise great judgment in developing and maintaining excellent business relationships within the business

- You have working knowledge of and experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) ProLeiT Brewmaxx and/or Rockwell PlantPAX, Rockwell PLCs, Schneider PLCs, HMI platforms, VFDs, SQL basics, OPC configuration, Rockwell Asset Centre, Control Loop Tuning, and OT Networks.
