The position is a high level financial position responsible for managing an organization's finance department in full. This role requires expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures and relies on a broad range of experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position leads and directs the work of others and requires a wide degree of latitude and initiative.
Essential Duties and Responsibilites:
The position is a high level financial position responsible for managing an organization's finance department in full. This role requires expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures and relies on a broad range of experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. This position leads and directs the work of others and requires a wide degree of latitude and initiative.
Functions include:
Provide financial analysis and assistance to the Site Manager through an in-depth understanding of company accounting policies and practices and business operations. Provide information and assistance to other departments within the organization regarding these financials.
Acting as Business Partner providing financial support to the Engineering and Program functions for the effective delivery of RTDI projects including all month end related postings and reporting
Maintain compliance with the organization's accounting principles, practices, internal control procedures, business procedures and initiatives
Support Program Manager in all financial cost analysis and business reviews
Oversee and develop budgeting process and final budgets for all items related to RTDI programs and projects - including Sales, OpEx, and CapEx
Provide forecast updates as required with explanation for variances, aligning forecast with business operations
Ensure that revenue recognition requirements are met
Responsible for managing R&D Tax credits and R&T subsidies
Coordinate and review business financial risks and opportunities as related to RTDI topics
Participate in top level business decisions, as part of the local Leadership Team
Provide financial accounting and business systems (ERP) leadership within a culture of continuous improvement.
Provide analytical support for acquisitions, divestitures or other strategic and operational initiatives.
Lead and develop an effective financial accounting team, identify successors and ensure succession plan is in place.
Perform ad hoc duties and projects as assigned by Direct Manager/Site Manager

Education and/or Expierence:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field from an accredited institution (Master's Degree Preferred)
7+ years managerial experience in related field
Strong US GAAP and International Financial Reporting Standards knowledge (Safran reporting requirements)
Keen international business acumen, including foreign exchange principles
Broad experience in a variety of financial functions including but not limited to US Government Contracting Compliance (FAR, DFAR and CAS), Government Reporting, General Ledger, Program Analysis and Cost Accounting.
Strong understanding of an ERP / business system with implementation experience a plus (SAP preferred).
Aerospace industry experience a plus
