Controller - On-site

Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Controller to join its Saline Lectronics team! The Controller will oversee all accounting and financial functions at one of its key locations. The successful candidate will be a proven finance leader who will partner with site leadership to drive financial performance, strategic decision-making, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities of the Controller:

• Lead and oversee all accounting-related matters for the location.
• Support the business with financial analysis to guide strategic decision-making.
• Direct and manage the budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis process.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including month-end close.
• Provide financial insights through KPI tracking, cash flow reporting, and financial analysis.
• Partner with auditors to support financial statement audits.
• Lead and develop the site accounting team, fostering a culture of excellence.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax filings.
• Oversee the ERP system's financial functions and support process improvements.
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.

Qualifications of the Controller:

• 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with prior Controller experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial procedures.
• ERP system implementation and administration experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead month-end/year-end close processes.
• Hands-on, proactive problem-solving approach with strong process improvement skills.
