Controller - Transportation Logistics

Wholesale Express, one of the country's largest wholesale dealers in the automotive industry, is seeking a Controller / Accounting Manager with strong communication skills and at least 4 years of strong A/P, GL and Audit experience to join our team onsite in Gilbert, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing the financial operations of the company. Wholesale Express is known for its need for speed and accuracy in automotive transportation, making transportation simple from anywhere in the nation. As Financial Controller, the candidate will play a key role in Wholesale Express' continued success.

Responsibilities

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel (a must)
• Able to manage a small team of 6-7 employees
• Daily posting of bank transactions
• Attention to detail and ability to work under limited supervision
• Enter A/P invoices and process vendor checks
• Weekly intercompany reconciliations between stores
• Month-end closing process-General Ledger reconciliations, commission and month-end close
• Comply with all company safety programs, rules, regulations, procedures and instructions that are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or CPA is preferred
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in the automotive industry
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Experience with budgeting and forecasting
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Friendly, outgoing personality with can-do-attitude!

• Pay: $95k - 115k Annual Salary commensurate with experience and skills
• Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00am-4:30pm)
