Controller

Our client is seeking a Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $150,000 to $170,000 per year.

Responsibilities:

Financial Oversight: Monitor company's financial health. This includes maintaining, managing, and analyzing financial statements, payroll, budgets, and tax compliance issues.

Collaboration: Work closely with auditors, bankers, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

Inventory and Cost Accounting: An understanding of inventory and cost accounting is essential for this role.

Credentials: A Bachelor's degree is required, but highly value additional credentials such as a Master's degree or CPA certification.

Energy and Ambition: Ideal candidate is energetic, hungry, and expresses a desire to grow within the company.

Qualifications:

• CPA License
• Strong technical accounting background to engage in meaningful conversations with auditors and bankers.
• Bachelor's degree (CFO appreciates credentials, so a Master's or CPA is a huge plus)
