Controller

We are partnering with a real estate client looking for a full-time Controller to join their team. You will be responsible for all financial activities and strategic financial guidance to support the company. This position will need experience in property management, restaurants, and HR functions. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $100,000 to $130,000 per year.

Job Description:

• Manage all aspects of financial reporting
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement financial strategies that support business objectives and drive profitability.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and streamline processes.
• Manage HR onboarding and offloading tasks, ensuring a seamless transition for new and former employees.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/annual payroll tax forms and payments, including W2 forms.

Requirements:

• Excellent analytical, quantitative, written, and verbal communication skills required.
• Works equally well independently and in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.

Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of relevant experience
• Strong GAAP knowledge.
