How You Will Contribute
- Oversee the accounting department including AP, AR, Debt, GL, payroll, and both month end and year end closing.
- Oversee production of GAAP compliant financial statements, shareholder reports, tax returns, and governmental agency reports.
- Maintain system of supporting records of accounting with a set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk.
- Develop and revise analytics with emphasis on margin, overhead, and inventory.
- Manage the delivery of product, services, or functions through the work of subordinate employees and implements programs and directives set by the organization executives.
- Work with external auditors and provide needed information for the annual audit.
- Manage outsource firms, commercial banking relationships, audit firms, and insurance companies.
- Make recommendations based on inventory position and sales forecasts.

Experience and Skills
About YOU!
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or business administration required.
- CPA or CMA designation preferred.
- 5+ years of related work experience at a similar level in manufacturing/distribution including inventory and costing.
- 5+ years of supervision experience.
- Knowledge of GAAP and other accounting concepts plus experience in their application
