Job Summary:

Volare Health is seeking a skilled Controller to lead and streamline our financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit processes.

The Volare Health portfolio consists of long-term care skilled nursing and short-term rehabilitation centers located in multiple states. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
  • Collaborate with the CFO on budget presentations and the annual budgeting process.
  • Develop and manage ad hoc financial reports and forecasting tools.
  • Train leadership on budgeting tools and processes.
  • Integrate and oversee annual budgets in the accounting system for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and distribute financial reports to external stakeholders, including lessors and lenders.
  • Monitor and forecast financial covenants.
  • Manage external audits and prepare necessary government forms.
  • Supervise staff in line with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Support company mission and objectives across departments.
  • Ensure compliance with residents' rights and promote positive interactions with residents, visitors, and regulators.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance; CPA preferred.
  • 5-10 years of general accounting experience.
  • Expertise in finance, GAAP, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
  • Proficiency with financial reporting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills for financial data and report preparation.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Self-motivated with leadership capabilities.
