Controller

A growing Manufacturing Company is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to oversee the financial operations. The ideal candidate will be a sharp finance professional with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for innovation. Responsibilities:

• Financial Management:
  • Oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze financial performance and identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.
• Banking and Treasury:
  • Manage banking relationships and oversee cash flow management.
  • Monitor and optimize working capital.
• Accounting and Reporting:
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with GAAP.
  • Collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Strategic Planning:
  • Work closely with leadership to develop and implement strategic financial plans.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Process Improvement:
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within month-end/year-end activities as well as overall automation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in Sage and advanced Excel skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• A proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Compensation: $130,000 + Bonus
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
