Controller

Growing business management firm specializing in VIP entertainment clients has an immediate need for a Controller. Reporting to the Founder, the Controller will own the management of the whole firm's accounting process, monthly/quarterly/annual closes, preparation of all financial statements, oversight of payroll, cash management, forecasting and planning, bill pay, commissions, in addition to operational and financial oversight of various firm clients.

Requirements:

• CPA, CA, or CMA
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 7-10 years general accounting experience in accordance with GAAP
• At least 5 years experience in an accounting leadership role
• Industry experience from professional services and experience in a client-facing role
• Exceptional communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Entertainment industry experience - film, production, branding, etc
• Public accounting experience
• Experience working with VIP clients where confidentiality is paramount

Compensation: $180,000-$210,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
