Controller

Location: Woodbridge, NJ
Pay: $120K - $160K based on experience
Schedule: 8 hour shift, Monday - Friday

We are looking for a result driven and financial controller to manage and improve the organization's financial performance. The Controller will report directly to the CFO and will be responsible for hands on accounting and financial analysis for the organization. Strategic planning and exceptional numerical proficiency will aid strategies, implement proper internal control. Achieve organizational targets and develop financial plans that support the organization strategy.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all financial aspects of the company
• Coordinate auditing process and ensure accuracy of financial information
• Publish financial statements and oversee accounting operations
• Oversee small team and train staff on business finance issues
• Evaluate and manage financial risk
• Prepare and publish the balance sheet monthly and monitor expenditure
• Play a critical role in driving process and efficiencies
• Work with our factor daily
• Streamline our accounting functions and operation.
• Manage the cash flow of the company
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Create and manage projections, budgets, and planning process
• Business and financial analysis related to expenses, capital expenditures, investments
• Strategically partner with the CFO on projects as well as working with employees in other departments.
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience working in a large wholesale company
• Experience with ERP implementations
• Strong drive, leadership, and initiative
• Detail oriented and highly organized
• Strong analytical skills
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Excellent leadership skills
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Master's Degree is a plus
