About the Role:
The Controller will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of our manufacturing facility, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial reporting. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining effective cost accounting systems that provide insights into product costing and profitability. The Controller will lead the financial planning and analysis efforts, enabling informed decision-making that drives operational efficiency and cost management. Additionally, this role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and reporting mechanisms. Ultimately, the Controller will contribute to the strategic direction of the company by providing financial leadership and guidance.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing accounting role, with a focus on cost accounting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA or CMA certification.
- Experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems to accurately track product costs and manufacturing expenses.
- Manage the month-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
