We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our growing team at Coastline Equity. As we expand, the Controller will play a critical role in managing our financial operations for our firm, subsidiaries, real estate investment clients and leading the finance department. This position requires a versatile leader with a strong background in accounting, finance, and human resources, capable of overseeing both strategic and day-to-day financial management while ensuring operational flexibility and growth.

- Oversee the finance department, ensuring accountability, performance, and development of team members.
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes.
- Supervise payroll, benefits administration, and HR operations.
- Oversee insurance processes and ensure the company complies with all relevant regulations.
- Maintain strong communication with external CPAs for tax filings and financial reporting.
- Establish and refine financial procedures, compliance processes, human resource processes, and internal controls.
- Managing the financial complexity of over 150+ separate corporate entities.

Requirements
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, preferably in property management.
- Education: A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field.
- Property Management Experience: Familiarity with property management or real estate accounting practices is essential.
- Experience with AppFolio is a plus.
The salary range of this position is $95k - $125k yearly.
