Controller

We are recruiting for a fantastic Corporate Controller role for a growing distribution/manufacturing company in the Everett area. This leadership position will manage a large team, 100% on site, and hands on. Must have good communication skills and be able to work in ambiguity. Excellent team and compensation package!

Essential Functions

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities and month-end close process including consolidation
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly financial information
• Excellent knowledge of US GAAP
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise accounting staff; ensure the team is appropriately structured and held accountable for delivering outcomes
• Point of contact for auditors
• Manage integration of newly acquired entities
• Design and administer internal controls
• Identify and implement accounting process and systems improvements working cross functionally with other departments
• Manage a large team including Staff Accountants, Accounting Managers, and Assistant Controllers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related experience
• Strong people management and problem solving skills
• Excellent understanding of US GAAP
• Experience with large ERP; Great Plains is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills and enjoys software systems
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus

Compensation: $180 to $210k plus bonus plus equity
