Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads the preparation of accurate monthly financial reports including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cashflow statements.
  • Leads Accounting team by ensuring direct reports are successful in accomplishing their objectives and exemplifying organization values.
  • Interprets and communicates key project and accounting information effectively to financial and operational users.
  • Reviews, reconciles, and adjusts ledger balances including various payroll related accounts.
  • Ensures compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinates with internal/external audit teams.
  • Performs special projects and completes all other duties as assigned or requested for the general support of the organization.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field and a minimum of ten years relevant experience and CPA accreditation.
  • Financial or Construction Controller experience or similar relevant work experience and knowledge of construction industry concepts and practices strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to accurately calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) and relevant accounting software experience.
  • Proficiency in D365 or similar accounting/ERP system.
