Job Title: Controller

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Controller to join our team and oversee the financial health of our client's company. The Controller will ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting to support key decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in financial leadership, particularly in manufacturing environments, and a proven ability to manage financial processes effectively. This is an on-site position with shifts from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
• Manage cash flow to ensure the company maintains adequate liquidity for day-to-day operations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies for required financial reporting.
• Lead and support the accounting and payroll team, providing guidance and mentorship as needed.
• Administer all employee benefit plans, including health, life, disability, and 401k/pension plans.
• Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to optimize profitability and cost efficiency.
• Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of financial management, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with manufacturing financials and cost accounting practices is highly desirable.
