- Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Manage and perform month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and internal accounting policies.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff to ensure high performance and continuous growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support cross-functional initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting.
- Proficient in ERP/accounting systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
