Description:
M-D is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Corporate Controller to join our finance team, offering a unique opportunity for professional growth and development. The Corporate Controller will work directly with SVP of Finance to report on the monthly financial performance of operations, maintain all accounting records, and manage the accounting and other finance team. As Corporate Controller, you will have the opportunity to make process improvements, upgrade procedures and internal controls, manage the day-to-day accounting department, consolidated financials and manage all financial reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger.
- Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and develop new policies as required.
- Assist and support accounting and other finance teams with dynamic leadership that creates an environment of trust and productivity
- Managing the accumulation and consolidation of financial data to ensure accurate accounting of individual and consolidated business results.
- Support the annual budget process by consolidating input from all companies and producing the necessary schedules for the FP&A team.
- Prepare and analyze of actual versus budgeted results for revenue and expenses items.
- Proactively assess current accounting operations and propose improvements, implementing new processes as needed.
- Develop and mentor direct reports and staff. Includes scheduling, reviews, staff motivation, training, and development.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements including all required tax returns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership, including at least 5 years in a senior management role within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Oracle, advanced Excel (pivot tables, formulas), and accounting principles
- Experience managing revenue and reconciliations for multiple locations
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, financial compliance, and cost accounting principles.
- experience working in organizations with revenues exceeding $200M and operating across multiple Strategic Business Units (SBUs)
- Experience in cost accounting, overhead rates, and familiarity with large multi-company activities.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- CPA/CMA certification a plus
