About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Controller to join our team. This key leadership role reports directly to the CFO and is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial management, reporting, policy development, and team leadership, with a global perspective.

Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of accounting strategies, policies, and procedures to align with company goals.
- Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow projections. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- International Oversight: Manage financial reporting and consolidation for international business units. Coordinate tax reporting and ensure proper financial statement consolidation across regions.
- Budget Management: Supervise budgeting, cost allocation, and investment strategies across the company and international units.
- Internal Controls: Oversee the establishment and enforcement of financial controls to maintain accuracy and consistency in reporting.
- Team Leadership: Manage and develop direct report(s), ensuring optimal performance and growth. Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- External Relations: Serve as the main liaison between the company and external auditors, tax professionals, and regulatory authorities.
- Operational Excellence: Manage accounts receivable, foreign exchange transactions, and Letters of Credit. Improve financial systems to streamline operations.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (required). Master's degree in Business Administration or Accounting (preferred). CPA preferred.
- Experience: 8-12 years of progressive accounting experience, with a demonstrated ability to manage a large team and handle increasing responsibility.
- Technical Skills: Expert proficiency with Microsoft Excel; basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint).
- Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and write detailed reports for senior leadership.
- Travel: Willingness to travel quarterly, including internationally.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to build and lead teams, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze and simplify complex issues.
- Global Perspective: Experience working with international teams and understanding global financial processes and regulations.
