?? Job Summary:
As our Financial Controller, you will lead the accounting team and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. You will be responsible for overseeing general ledger functions, preparing monthly and annual consolidated financial statements, maintaining cost accounting systems, and managing financial audits and budgets.
? Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the monthly and annual close process, including financial statement preparation and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
- Supervise general accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
- Manage and maintain an accurate cost accounting system in a Standard Costing environment.
- Support inventory control and coordinate physical inventory audits.
- Collaborate with ERP teams to ensure accuracy in financial reporting (experience with Made2Manage is a plus).
- Analyze financial data to support business decisions and special projects.
- Prepare and oversee the annual budget process.
- Lead the coordination of annual external audits.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Licensed CPA with a strong public accounting foundation preferred.
- 10+ years of total experience in accounting (mix of public and private), with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Manufacturing industry experience with Standard Costing preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, advanced formulas).
- Comfortable learning and using accounting and ERP systems - Made2Manage experience a bonus.
