About the Role
As Controller, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and lead all accounting operations. Based in Atlanta, you will ensure financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency while providing strategic insights that contribute to our ongoing growth and success. This role requires occasional travel to Nashville, TN, to collaborate with the corporate team and support key initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the period-end close process, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of financial statements in line with GAAP.
• Streamline and enhance accounting processes in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Collaborate with external auditors and manage the year-end audit process.
• Oversee treasury functions, including cash forecasting and banking relationships.
• Mentor and develop the accounting team to achieve their professional potential.
• Partner with HR and Payroll to maintain precise financial records.
• Stay current on regulatory changes to ensure compliance and competitive positioning.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or CMA preferred).
• Proven experience as a Controller or senior financial leader, ideally within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Advanced skills in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.
• Effective communicator and team leader with a collaborative mindset.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Nashville, TN, for team collaboration and strategic planning.
