Controls Engineer

Position Overview:

We're seeking a Controls Engineer to join our team! Based in Mt. Zion, IL we are an expert in Controls Engineering, Consulting and turn-key factory automation and integration services. Our automation solutions succeed by applying superior technical knowledge, in depth process expertise and strong project management skills. Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical design and hardware specification.
• Design and program sophisticated control systems.
• Simulate, test, and debug control systems in-house
• Startup systems at the end-users facility.
• Provide continuing system technical support over the phone or on-site.

Qualifications:

Relevant degree or at least 5 years of experience with:

• project engineering and/or project management, specifically with control system integration projects.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design, PLCs, HMI, SCADA software, device communication protocols, and networking.
• Must be skilled in at least one programming language.
