Position Summary

As a Controls Technical Specialist II, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the day-to-day operation of the facility's control systems and infrastructure. In this role your primary responsibility will be to work on production problems and enhancements. You will oversee and perform PLC logic upgrades and modifications on production equipment. You will work closely with our maintenance team to troubleshoot and support production line operations, and work with the controls manager on small capital projects.
  • Program and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controls (PLC)
  • Perform preventive maintenance for controls and organize electrical/control parts inventory
  • Provide technical support for plant daily operation.
  • Implement control systems upgrades
  • Provide instrumentation, PLC and HMI software and hardware support to plant operations

Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a technical discipline
  • 5+ years of applicable experience in PLC software and Electrical/ hardware troubleshooting and/or PC-based HMI-systems

The approximate pay range for this position is $70,000-$95,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
