Job Description
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate, cost-effective care consistent with our mission to patients regardless of race, color, religion, or ability to pay while obtaining insurance and or financial information from patients and or representatives to determine the patient's obligation to the hospital, reports directly to Senior Hospital Investigator.
General tasks and responsibilities will include:
Minimum Qualifications
1. A Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university in Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Social Work, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counseling, and three (3) years of full-time experience in medically-oriented health care and medical support systems environment, two (2) years of which included experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in such occupations as physical, occupational, inhalation, speech and audiology therapy or as Medical/Laboratory Technologist, Microbiologist (various specialties), Chemist (biochemist), Radiation and X-Ray Technician or three (3) years of responsible level experience in business management systems or general administration including two (2) years in a supervisory or administrative capacity.
2. A Masters Degree from an accredited college or university in the disciplines listed in (1), and two (2) years of full-time experience as listed in (1), plus one (1) year experience in an administrative or supervisory capacity in occupations as listed in (1); or,
3. A satisfactory equivalent combination of training, education and experience.

Job Description
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality, compassionate, cost-effective care consistent with our mission to patients regardless of race, color, religion, or ability to pay while obtaining insurance and or financial information from patients and or representatives to determine the patient's obligation to the hospital, reports directly to Senior Hospital Investigator.
General tasks and responsibilities will include:
- Review and analyze data in order to identify gaps and advise the Directors of services, Deputy CFO & CFO.
- Provide training methods for Employees throughout finance units.
- Assist with the execution of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting related to RCS & Facility Initiatives.
Participate in cross-functional department projects.
Reconcile/Review financial discrepancies when assigned. Ensure departments comply with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends within Epic Financials.
Runs and reviews weekly front-end aging reports.
Assist with reviewing and completing Work Queues when assigned.
Facilitates team meetings as necessary.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Deputy CFO.
