Class Description
The purpose of this class is to perform professional level administrative duties in coordinating courses, student intake, assessments and recruiting for the assigned College division or function.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in liberal arts, education, human services, or similar fields, and three (3) years of experience in student outreach, and program coordination, or administrative support. One year supervising full- or part-time employees preferred.
Compensation within the posted range is determined by a candidate's education level and/or years of experience in the field. Generally, employees are hired in the lower third of the scale.

Class Specific Essential Duties
Assist with the development and implementation of policies, procedures and/or initiatives. Identify resources and tools that can assist others with their individual needs. Conduct workshops and presentations, as required. Provide advisement services, as required. Serve on appropriate departmental, division and college-wide committees. Maintains department records and files, as required. Prepare, analyze and provide reports on miscellaneous subjects, as requested. Manage assigned projects, programs and staff.
Position Specific Essential Duties
1. Identify, profile and develop outreach strategies for students, including development and delivery of marketing materials and partner management.
2. Assess candidates' eligibility for grants, contracts and open enrollment programs based on interests, aptitudes, skill levels, and suitability.
3. Track, input and monitor student placement and program progress information in databases and tracking mechanisms, ensuring up-to-date data reporting.
4. Counsel and advise students.
5. Ensure class administrative deadlines, needs, rosters, and calendars are met on time and accurately.
6. Coordinate with other staff as needed to manage administration and coordination of classes for multiple workforce development grants, contracts, and open enrollment programs simultaneously.
7. Oversee intake assessment processes and tools for contract and grant programs, including use of current MD Labor approved testing instruments, as assigned.
8. Recruit, hire, train, evaluate and supervise adjunct faculty.
9. Supervise assigned full-time and part-time employees.
10. Coordinate intake processes and facilitate communication with internal and external partners, as assigned.
