Job Description

We're searching for a Copy Supervisor of Creative who will be responsible for the conception, design, and execution of innovative materials for integrated, cross channel initiatives including: large web initiatives, online advertising, broadcast and digital marketing. Individuals should possess strong writing skills and assist the Creative Director in improving the conceptual, technical and creative performance of staff within their group.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with creative team members to determine concept, brand and copy directions
  • Ensure copy tone and style are consistent with brand and style guidelines
  • Interact with project teams to understand business objectives and audience demographics
  • Translate concepts into effective messages
  • Contribute to brainstorming and creative brief development
  • Work on multiple projects simultaneously and juggle writing demands
  • Possess strong communication skills with a positive attitude
  • You can evaluate the work of Copywriters and Associates to ensure that the components of relevance are leveraged appropriately
  • You leverage the components of relevance in every program that you work on
  • Work together with art directors, planning, and account team to provide creative, strategically sound solutions for client, in-house and new business needs
  • Own jobs, beginning to end
  • Write and reference promotional material without supervision
  • Constantly look for new, compelling copy presentation
  • Submit complete, fully referenced and annotated manuscripts consistent with clients' style guide on time and on budget
  • Initiate data searches and maintain reference files
  • Supervise and direct copy written by junior writers or copywriters
  • Clearly communicate information and direction to other writers as well as suppliers, freelancers, and editorial staff.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentations
  • Attend market research
  • Work closely with the art, editorial and traffic departments to ensure that projects are completed according to deadlines
  • Present work in an organized and interesting manner


Qualifications

  • Four year degree
  • 5-7 years experience in pharma writing
  • Creative agency experience desired
  • Solid understanding of marketing and advertising principles
  • Strong experience on large cross-channel and/or direct marketing initiatives across mediums
  • Experience with online and offline media preferred
  • Candidate must be open to travel as needed

Compensation Range: $ $79,990 - $125,925 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
