We are hiring a Workday Administrator! The Workday Administrator is responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and optimization of the Workday platform, including Workday HCM and Workday Adaptive Planning. This role will ensure the smooth operation of Workday systems, manage security configurations, and support departments with troubleshooting, business processes, and project needs.

Our Workday Administrator:

  • Serves as the primary administrator for the Workday platform, including configuration, maintenance, data loads, integrations, and optimization.
  • Assists the IT Project Manager with implementation and launch of the Workday HCM, Workday Adaptive Planning, and other Workday modules and integrations after launch.
  • Manages Workday security configurations and administration.
  • Designs, configures, and maintains Workday security roles and permissions to ensure proper access controls and compliance with all TA Policies and procedures.
  • Manages and maintains Workday system configurations, updates, and integrations to ensure smooth system functionality.
  • Creates and maintains a framework that can be used to troubleshoot complex configuration issues, providing next-level support for complex issues, and troubleshooting related to implementation and configuration of Workday solutions.
  • Collaborates cross functionally with various departments to understand their needs and provide solutions within the Workday platform.
  • Develops and maintains administration-related documentation for Workday processes and configurations.
  • Stays updated with the latest Workday features and enhancements and implement them as needed.
  • Promotes the Mission, Vision, and Values of Transforming Age in all areas of responsibility and demonstrate commitment to Culture of Excellence and strategic goals.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, human resources, or a related field
  • Three years or more as a Workday Administrator
  • Workday Certification preferred.
  • Prior experience with implementation and roll-out of an HRIS (Workday strongly preferred) including initial configuration and user acceptance testing, and launch. .
  • Strong understanding of Workday modules, including HCM, Payroll, and Workday Adaptive Planning.
  • Advanced experience with Workday security configuration and business process management.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects of varying complexity.
  • Commitment to managing and maintaining confidentiality, honesty and integrity is required in this role.
  • Experience and familiarity with a variety of project management methodologies, e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Kanban.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds.
  • Must have strong critical thinking skills, excellent organizational skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Outstanding proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially Teams, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
