The Details:
Our Corporate Development and Strategy team is seeking a Manager to support corporate development activity. This individual will be a part of a fast-paced team working on a wide range of projects and will report to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and Strategy. The individual will support day-to-day activities, including company and market intelligence, financial modeling and analysis, business development and M&A transaction support. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently to define project requirements based on the group's stated goals, and develop creative solutions utilizing available technology and tools.
What will you do? (Job Duties)
Contribute to the execution of corporate strategy and development projects and ad hoc requests as necessary
Support corporate M&A activities to include deal sourcing, due diligence, execution and integration
Perform company and market research and analysis
Develop reports and presentations in support of strategic and business development initiatives
Conduct financial analysis including valuation models and market forecast models
Synthesize data and develop recommendations to enable decision making
Use available software tools and databases (e.g., corporate, financial, regulatory) to craft creative solutions in support of proactive Corporate Development efforts
Support all phases of the M&A process, including target sourcing, development of the strategic rationale and business case, financial modeling, due diligence collection, data room management, NDAs, negotiation, deal structuring and execution, and integration
Partner with internal business units to understand operations, performance, strategy, market dynamics, and business needs
Assist in monitoring the competitive landscape to help source acquisition opportunities
Requirements
What we are looking for: (Experience)
2-5 years of relevant work experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development or management consulting
Able to work on-site Monday-Friday
Bachelor's degree required; recent MBA graduates considered
Ability to manage business initiatives through to completion and manage multiple priorities
Demonstrated strategic thinking, leadership and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Strong financial modeling and analysis skills preferred
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Familiarity with insurance industry not required

Pay Range: $95,000-$142,000
The above pay range is for all US-based roles based on function and level, benchmarked against companies of similar size and scope. To be compliant with local legislation as well as provide greater transparency to candidates, we disclose salary ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired job location. We also offer a competitive annual discretionary bonus program and the opportunity for annual long-term incentive stock grants. In addition, we offer a highly competitive benefits package. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and qualifications, and may vary from the amounts listed above.
