Qualifications:
- Fiveor more years of direct experience in environmental services and communitymanagement; required
- Bachelor'sdegree in Engineering, management or business; preferred
- Considerableexperience at the management level in a community's maintenance or constructionenvironment
- Demonstratedknowledge of Physical Plant Maintenance, Housekeeping and Laundry operations
- Knowledgeof health care regulatory, risk management and safety processes
- Demonstratedknowledge of construction and architectural procedures, ability to read andinterpret blue prints, specifications and contracts
- Abilityto negotiate and implement contracts
- Demonstratedsuccess in managing within large and complex organization
- Excellentcomputer skills; ability to prepare reports and make public presentations

Oversightand Administration- Leads the environmental services function for Presbyterian Senior Living including maintenance, housekeeping, laundry, transportation and grounds keeping
- Leads the development, maintenance and execution of the Emergency and Disaster Plans
- Leads the development and implementation of the safety program policies and procedures
- Ability to negotiate and implement contracts and oversee co projects as needed in collaboration with the VP of Development
ManagementResponsibilities- Develops, implements and maintains environmental services policies, procedures and objectives in adherence to regulatory standards of practice
- Conducts routine visits and audits of communities' environmental services programs
- Assists in the recruitment and interviewing Directors of Environmental Services for Presbyterian Senior Living communities
- Provides guidance, support and encouragement to the care team with a focus on vision and purpose and promotes dignity
- Facilitates communication among the care team, supporting information sharing and problem-solving
