Position Overview:
The Director of Operational Support will play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining processes, and ensuring the seamless execution of key initiatives. This position serves as a bridge between home office leadership and on-the-ground operations, providing project oversight, data-driven insights, and strategic support to optimize performance across Charlestowne Hotels' portfolio.
This role is ideal for a highly organized, analytical, and execution-focused professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about operational excellence. The Director of Operational Support will work closely with senior leadership, Operations Directors, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and accountability on company-wide initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership to develop and implement operational strategies that drive efficiency and performance across all properties.
- Provide support in managing key initiatives, ensuring projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with company objectives.
- Identify bottlenecks in processes and implement solutions that streamline workflow and improve efficiency.
- Serve as the central point of coordination for cross-functional initiatives, ensuring clear communication and accountability.
- Track progress, anticipate challenges, and proactively address issues to keep initiatives moving forward.
- Work with property leadership to ensure best practices and operational improvements are effectively adopted.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data to provide leadership with actionable insights.
- Develop reports and dashboards that track key performance indicators (KPIs) and highlight opportunities for optimization.
- Support financial and operational planning by providing data-driven recommendations.
- Evaluate current workflows and operational processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices.
- Ensure consistency in execution across properties by developing and maintaining operational guidelines and playbooks.
- Collaborate with teams to implement technology and tools that enhance operational efficiency.
- Assist in preparing executive reports, presentations, and analysis for leadership meetings and strategic planning.
- Reduce administrative burden on senior leadership by managing projects, follow-ups, and operational tasks that require execution support.
- Act as a trusted resource for the COO and Operations Directors, ensuring their time is focused on high-impact initiatives.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in hotel operations, hospitality management, or a related field (multi-property experience preferred).
- Strong background in operational strategy, process improvement, or project management within the hospitality industry.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data, translate insights into actionable strategies, and drive results.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both senior leadership and on-property teams.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google environments and experience with project management or data visualization tools.
- Ability to travel as needed to support properties and initiatives.
